Heather Ryan The Story

As one of the youngest children in a family of eight, Heather Ryan learned at an early age how to stand out in a crowd. Her acting career began when she was just a young girl, showing off her talents in several beloved Ryan family camcorder classics. She starred opposite her twin sister, Angie, in Dan Ryan's never-completed work, a Weird Al Yankovic inspired music video, I Think I'm a Clone Now . Heather also nailed several supporting roles in Dave Ryan's short film, Rambo 17: The Annihilator .

A decade later, Heather enrolled in acting classes in high school and college, and then took to the airwaves on her campus TV and radio stations. After moving to the Bay Area in 2005, Heather decided to try her hand at improv at the American Conservatory Theater...a move that changed her life! Heather fell in love with the craft and has trained at the San Francisco Comedy College and BATS Improv. She continues to take formal and private classes to hone her skills, and is currently a member of Technically Virgins Improv .

Heather not only enjoys being silly on stage, but also loves acting on film. She has starred in several short films, with roles ranging from an obnoxious college student to a mother with a dying son. She also has experience in commercial work and voice acting. Heather recently finished shooting a feature length film, CXL , and is currently filming the comedic webseries, Tragedy Club .

Most importantly though, Heather is older than her twin sister by two minutes.
